Zanesville Devilettes Gear Up for Holiday Bazaar

ZANESVILLE, OH – It’s never too early for a little holiday cheer! The Zanesville Devilettes are preparing for the annual Paulette Young Holiday Bazaar.

The event is getting a change of scenery this year. Due to ongoing renovations at Secrest Auditorium, the bazaar will be held at National Road Elementary School in Zanesville.

Shoppers can explore nearly 100 tables featuring handmade crafts, baked goods, floral arrangements, shirts, wooden creations and other holiday goodies.

“This bazaar is probably one of the largest in the area,” said Wayne Carpenter, former director and volunteer. “People are just so imaginative and they come up with such creative ideas. So, there’s a variety of things offered that day.”

There will also be plenty of chances to win, with more than 90 raffle prizes being drawn throughout the day.

The Devilette Booster Group will operate a cafeteria where shoppers can enjoy sandwiches, soups, baked goods and refreshments.

Carpenter said the cafeteria gives visitors a chance to sit down, enjoy lunch and take a break from shopping.

The Paulette Young Holiday Bazaar will take place Saturday, October 31, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at National Road Elementary School on East Pike in Zanesville.

Funds raised during the event will benefit the Zanesville Devilettes.
