An elementary class was rewarded for painting kindness rocks

ADAMSVILLE, Ohio – A local second grade class participated in the Kindness Rock Project and won a pizza party in return.
March 6, 2018 we talked with Lones Stone and Landscape Supply Owner Mike Lones about donating rocks to local schools. About six schools applied for the rocks and had their students paint positive messages on them.
“We had different schools in the community do the rocks and paint them, make them with the positive messages and this school was chosen in the random drawing to win the pizza party,” Lones’ Daughter Bailey Lones said. “They were so excited to show us their rocks. They were begging to show us their personal rock and the different sayings on them.”
Adamsville second grade teacher, Kaneale Bintz said fellow teacher Julie Prouty found out about the Kindness Rock Project and the two teachers along with the whole school decided to participate.
“We do an Adamsville Cares project every month and so this was also our Adamsville Cares project,” Bintz said. “So We’re actually going to donate to the Zanesville Cancer Treatment Center for people who are going through chemotherapy treatments. So they can have a positive inspirational message.”
According to Bintz the rest of Adamsville Elementary classes who participated will give the rocks back to the students to place around the community.
