Balloon Release in Honor of Teen

There’s an opportunity for the community to join together in honor of a teen that passed away last week.

A balloon release in honor of 12-year-old Coby Bleakney will take place at the LifeWay Church at 2450 Maysville Pike, Tuesday evening at 5:30pm.

Organizers said there will be balloons for each child in attendance and ribbons for each child to write on and tie to their balloon.

Pastors will also be available to talk to any child or adult who would like some counsel.

There will be an opportunity for those that would like to share a memory of Coby to say some kind words.

A prayer session will also take place.
