Flooding Evacuations Ordered in Crooksville

The Perry County Sheriff’s Office says an Emergency Flood Evacuation has been ordered in Crooksville. A dispatcher says at 4:14 a.m. authorities announced that the Village Green Apartments and residents living on China Street were being told to evacuate. The Sheriff’s Office says the emergency order is the result of rising waters that are causing flooding. The Red Cross of Southeast Ohio is helping the displaced residents at the Crooksville Fire Department.
