Two Charged in Drug Investigation
A several month long investigation leads to the arrest of two women.
The Muskingum County-Zanesville City Joint Drug Task Force said on May 4, three women were arrested following a pursuit on Interstate 70 in the west side of the county.
Now two of those women face charges some felonies of the first and second degree.

21-year-old McKenna Brock, of Zanesville, faces 11 charges including the trafficking drug (methamphetamine, possession of drugs methamphetamine, two counts of trafficking in drugs heroin, tampering with evidence, complicity to failure to comply with the order of a Peace Officer and interference with or diminishing forfeitable property.
20-year-old Kimberly Love Brewer, of Zanesville, faces three charges including failure to comply with the order of a Peace Officer, tampering with evidence and possession of drugs methamphetamine. Brewer was also wanted out of the Muskingum County Common Pleas Court for two counts of possession of drugs and possessing drug abuse instruments.
“It’s a shame. Here’s two kids right here going to lose their life for a while. McKenna Brock probably a long while,” said Zanesville Police Chief Tony Coury.
If convicted on all charges Brock could receive 48 years in prison, while Brewer could face a maximum 14 years in prison.
Both women are being held in the Muskingum County Jail. Brock is being held on a $500,000 bond while Brewer is being held on a $200,000 bond.
