Z-ville Murder Suspect Says He’s Not Guilty
The Columbus man charged in the murder of a Zanesville teenager last month appeared in court for his arraignment this morning. 24-year-old Terrell Nowlin told a Muskingum County Common Please Judge that he is not guilty of the murder of 19-year-old Tyler Hardin. Nowlin is facing charges of aggravated murder with a gun and death specification, conspiracy to aggravated murder, kidnapping, kidnapping with a gun specification, four counts of tampering with evidence and one count of gross abuse of a corpse. If convicted Nowlin faces the death penalty. His bond was continued at $1,000,000. Last week Nowlin’s wife, Heather also plead not guilty in the case. The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office located Hardin’s body earlier this month at an unidentified location in Newton Township.
