Man Sentenced After Drug Bust
A man is sentenced to five years in prison Wednesday for charges stemming from a Zanesville drug bust.
26-year-old Darrin Wade pled guilty in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court to a third-degree-felony charge of trafficking in crack cocaine, a third-degree felony charge of possession of crack cocaine and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Judge Kelly Cottrill sentenced Wade to five years in prison and $10,000 in fines.
Wade was arrested in June after the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office conducted a drug bust at 206 Mead Street. The Sheriff’s office said they recovered seven grams of crack, marijuana, prescription pills and drug paraphernalia.
