Woman Taken by Med-Flight After Crash
A woman is taken by Med-Flight to Ohio State University Medical Center after an accident on State Route 16. According to Trooper Aaron Reiner with the Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol, the accident happened shortly after 5 p.m just after the State Route 146 exit. The car went off the right side of S.R. 16, rolled, and came to a rest on its roof. Trooper Reiner says there were no passengers in the vehicle. Frazeysburg Fire Department says crews were searching for the woman’s four-year old child who she thought was in the car during the accident. However, officials determined the child was not with the woman at the time of the crash. The woman was responsive as she was taken by helicopter. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
