Cornhole Tournament
One game is gaining popularity among locals.
The second annual cornhole tournament was held Sunday afternoon at Zane State College. More than 26 teams competed in the event.
"It’s growing rapidly and it’s a very friendly game but a very competitive game, people just love to come and compete and have fun with it," said Vice President of the College Foundation Brandon Hess.
Hess says the weather did affect the turn out, but many devoted teams played anyway.
"There’s people that really come from a 120 mile radius, we have people from Cincinnati here today, we posted on the American Cornhole Association site and people take it very serious and travel in a long way," he said.
The winner received $500 to split with his or her teammate.
