Five Pounds Of Pot Found In Somerset Home

The Perry County Sheriff’s Office says it made a big marijuana bust in Somerset today. Sergeant Kevin Starrett says they received a tip that a home at 100-10 Reading Township Road 68 had large quantities of pot. Starrett says deputies seized around 5 pounds of marijuana and an undisclosed amount of currency. The occupants names are not being released at this time pending review and formal charges by the Perry County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office  The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force.
