Zanesville Man Sentenced On Gun Charges

A Zanesville man is going to prison for one year for possessing a machine gun. A Spokesman from United States District Court in Columbus says at 9:30 a.m.  Friday 61-year-old Terry Thompson was sentenced to the term. The Court also ordered that Thompson spend one year of home confinement after he is released from custody and 208 hours of community service. In April Thompson plead guilty to possession of illegal firearms, including some without serial numbers.
