Fatal Crash in Licking County

A Licking County man is dead following an afternoon crash on State Route 13 in St. Louisville.

According to the Granville Post of the State Highway Patrol, shortly before 5:30 p.m. 67-year-old Larry Wright of St. Louisville was traveling southbound on State Route 13 in a Chevrolet pick-up truck when he went left-of-center and struck a Monte Carlo driven by 30-year-old Cory Dobson of Newark. Wright’s pick-up then struck a house.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Licking County coroner. Dobson was uninjured.

Troopers say a medical condition may have contributed to the crash, but that cannot be determined until an autopsy is completed. Alcohol and drugs are not suspected to be a factor.
