David L. Carney (August 26, 1931 – April 11, 2016)

David L. Carney, 84, of Zanesville, died at 2:46 P.M. on Monday, April 11, 2016, at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. He was born August 26, 1931, in Zanesville, a son of the late William Carney and Alice Bunting Grubb. He was a United States Navy Veteran, a member of the Eagles and Jaycees, and was an avid golfer.

He is survived by three daughters, Terri (James) Reynolds Jr., Toni Bell and Tami (Joseph) Zinsli; two sons, Matt Carney and David Carney; ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and a close friend Mike (Robin) Gardner of Zanesville.
