Rita B. VanDyne, 91 of Zanesville passed away Tuesday April 19, 2016 at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House. She was born July 26, 1924 in Akron, OH a daughter of the late Harry and Sophie Hilbert. She worked at Martins Ace Hardware for 20years and retired from Maysville Laundromat.
Rita is survived by one son Thomas A. VanDyne and one daughter Sherry Ann VanDyne both of Zanesville and one sister Janet Green of California.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step-motherMary Hilbert; infant son Harry VanDyne Jr.; three brothers Frank, Fred and John Hilbert and one sister Helen Mayes.
Calling hours will be held from 10:00am until time of services at 12:00 Noon on Friday April 22, 2016 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
