Ferne I. Kirkbride 91 of Malta passed away Wednesday Mary 11, 2016 at her home. She was born December 4, 1924 in Lisbon, OH a daughter of the late John and Mary Hildabittle Horner. She enjoyed crocheting, puzzle books and was retired from United Technologies.
Ferne is survived by one son John (Debbie) Kirkbride; three daughters Beverly Cunningham, Betty (Gary) George and Rosemary Pugh all of Morgan County; one sister Roseann Robinson of Lisbon, OH; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Frank Kirkbride who passed away October 17, 1979; one son Jerry Kirkbride; two brother’s Alvin and Walter and one sister Harriet Robinson; grandson Tony Cunningham.
Calling hours will be held on Monday May 16, 2016 from 10am until time of services at 1pm at the Pisgah United Methodist Church with Pastor Mike Wells officiating.
