Evelyn I. Moorehead (February 3, 1931 – May 25, 2016)

Evelyn I. Moorehead,85, of Zanesville passed away on Wednesday May 25, 2016 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House.
She was born in Zanesville on February 3, 1931 to the late Gordon and Edith Paynter Reynolds. Evelyn was a homemaker, seamstress, musician, and an artist. She was a member of South Zanesville United Methodist Church and was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her loving husband William “Bill” Moorehead, daughters: Kathy (Ron) Orwig and Mary (Dan) Labaki, sons: Mark Connell and James “Jay” Moorehead, a daughter-in-law Janet Connell, a sister Mildred Needs, a nephew Stephen Needs, Eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandsons.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons Bill Connell and Matthew Moorehead and a nephew Michael Needs and her first husband Robert K. Connell.

Calling hours will be 2-4 and 6-8pm on Friday May 27, 2016 and one hour prior to services at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be 11am on Saturday in the Snouffer Chapel. Burial will follow in Poplar Forks Cemetery.
