Patricia “Patty” A. Melick (December 27, 1960 – June 17, 2016)

Patricia “Patty” A. Melick , 55 of Zanesville died at 5:57 PM June 17, 2016 at the Genesis Heath Care following brief illness.

She was born on December 27, 1960 in St. Louis Park, Minnesota the daughter of the late Garth O. Johnson and Marian Branstetter of Zanesville.

Patty brought joy to the many different businesses she worked at in the area including, Kellogg’s, Big Bear, Wal-Mart, Cracker Barrel & Bob Evans. She enjoyed gardening, drawing and especially entertaining family & friends with her unmatched wit and sense of humor. They will miss the smiles her daily Facebook blogs provided.

She is survived by her husband, Michael “Mike” Melick, her mother, Marian Branstetter of Zanesville; Children; Rachael, Michael, Matthew ” Matt”, Andrew “Andy” and Jesse Melick; her sisters, Robin (Brent) Moore of Gratiot and Terri Johnson of Chino Ca. and several nieces & nephews.

Family will receive friends Sunday, June 19th from 11am to 1:30pm at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home with a time of sharing memories from 1:30 to 2:00.
