Al Logan stepping down as Muskingum head football coach
NEW CONCORD, Ohio – Head Football Coach Al Logan is leaving Muskingum University to pursue other opportunities, the Muskingum University Athletic Department announced today.
Coach Logan was first hired as an assistant coach in March of 2006 before becoming the program’s head coach later that year. Prior to his time at Muskingum, Logan served stints as offensive coordinator at Wittenberg University and as an assistant coach at Davidson College.
“Al Logan is admired by many Muskies for his hard work and dedication to Muskingum,” said Athletic Director Larry Shank. “We are grateful for his service to our institution and our student-athletes.”
Muskingum will launch a national search to identify its next head football coach. In the meantime, Assistant Coach Ethan Wetzel will serve as interim head coach.
