Andy Jam A Success

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Local restaurant The Barn held a memorial concert for Andy Quinn today.
The concert was organised by Andy’s father Paul and featured many local artists. Quinn said it was the best way to honor his son.
“It’s great, the Andu Jam Today in honor of my deceased son Andy Quinn. The musicians are coming out and playing for free, and friends and family and supporters I don’t even know have come out in support of our effort to recognize my son and to raise money for a scholarship for future police officers of Zane State. Of course that means the world to me, anything in the name of my son, that we lost unexpectedly at the age of 31, it’s something I don’t think you ever really get over.”
Andy Quinn had lifelong dreams of being a police officer but medical conditions kept him from joining the force. His father wants him to be remembered as a kind soul who looked out for everyone he knew.
“He had always done much like I do. Anybody who has a problem and wants to talk, we’ll give them an ear and support them. Andy was really good at that, in fact, to a far greater extent than I was even aware. After he passed away, I had people that I didn’t know reach out to me to tell me that they had had a difficult time and Andy took the time to sit and talk with them and make them feel okay. That’s something not everybody can do.”
Quinn wanted to thank The Barn for allowing him to use their venue for the concert.
