Animal Shelter Society is excited to share its Pet of the Week

ZANESVILLE – The Animal Shelter Society is excited to shares it’s Pet of the Week.

This week’s animal is a 6-month-old cat name Luanne. She has been housed at the shelter since mid-December and would fit in with a lot of different potential owners.

“Well, she seems very calm and friendly. I think she would be good with kids and with it being Valentine’s Day I think she could be somebody’s special valentine,” Premier Title & Closing Services Sponsor David Mortimer said.

Until Valentine’s Day, the Shelter Society is running a cat adoption special.

“We still have our holiday special that’s Cat-a-tine for your Valentine. As long as you have you application in by Sunday, you will get the discounted price. It will still take 48 to 72 hours to process. Again, we’re always accepting donations. We are in need of bleach, Fabulouso, kitten chow, and Greenies Pill Pockets for dogs if anybody would like to donate those,” Animal Care Manager Rebecca Hunt said.
