Applications Being Accepted for the George Kramer Scholarship

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Muskingum County Community Foundation is currently seeking applicants. 

The 2018 George Kramer Scholarship is now available and the deadline is quickly approaching. Applicants must either be going into their Junior or Senior year at Mid-East Career and Technology Center, a graduating high school senior or a current college student. 

Katie McCarty, Educational Assistant at MCCF and Scholarship Central said, “The George Kramer Scholarship was specifically set up for students who either live in either Section 8 Housing or a part of the Zanesville Metropolitan Housing Authority properties. Anybody at any level can apply for it.” 

Applicants must have two recommendations on their application. They will not accept applications that are late or incomplete.

“This Scholarship has been around for several years. It hasn’t been awarded in the past few years so we’re trying to get it ramped back up again so that it can award before the end of the year,” McCarty said. 

The online application can be found on the MCCF website and it must be turned in before 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 17th.
