Area basketball players to take part in North-South game

COLUMBUS, Ohio – There will be plenty of local talent in this year’s North-South All-Star basketball game.

On the boys side there are two area athletes who will be playing. Zanesville’s Cameron Brooks-Harris and Newark’s JT Shumate will be team mates on the Division I & II South team. That game is April 20 at Olentangy Liberty High School. The DI & II game is at 6:30. A DIII & DIV game will be at 8 p.m.

The girls North-South game will be happening at the same time at Denison University. Philo’s Destiny Hutcheson and Cambridge’s Lilly Ritz will be playing for the DI & DII South team. Start times for the girls games are the same as the boys.

WHIZ Sports will be there to cover both games.
