Arrests made in April home invasion
The Zanesville Police Department has made multiple arrests in a home invasion investigation.
The incident under question occurred around 6:15 p.m. on April 17. Chief Kenneth Miller said two men broke into the residence at 409 1/2 Mead Street. He said they then took charge of seven people inside the residence who ranged in age from two years old and up.
"It was reported to us that two suspects entered the house, held the victims at gun point and actually tied some of the victims up," Miller said.
Thirty-year-old Randle Cremeans Junior of Zanesville was arrested on April 23. Twenty-three-year-old Christopher Hendricks of Columbus was arrested the following day. Chief Miller said both men face multiple charges.
"Each will be charged with seven counts of kidnapping, five counts of aggravated robbery and one count of aggravated burglary," he said. "Each of these counts will also carry gun specs."
Both men are being held on $5 million bond at the Zanesville City Jail.
