Art exhibit opening at John McIntire Library Friday

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The John McIntire Library is getting ready for an art show opening Friday.

The Marketing and Community Relations Director Sean Fennell says supporting local artists aligns with the library’s values.

“For March and April we have the Southeastern Ohio Water Media Society. This is an annual show that we look forward to every year that features local artists that are part of this group. And we encourage everybody to come out to the opening that is this Friday.”

Fennell says all of the art featured in the show will be available for sale.

“That’s kind of a unique aspect to this show is that you’re able to actually voice your opinion on which one you’d like the best and of course the objects will be available for sale as well.”

The show will be in the Carnegie Wing Gallery from 4 to 6 p.m. The exhibit will be on display for the public during library hours throughout March and April.

The gallery is located on the second floor.
