ArtCOZ To Hold Art Market

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- This Thursday, September 24th from four to seven PM, the Art Colony of Zanesville is holding an art market in the welcome center parking lot. 

The event will follow strict COVID protocols and will be attended by numerous local artists. President Kristen Brown has more information.

“The ArtCOZ Market, we’ve been working with the welcome center and Visit Zanesville, the Chamber, and they’ve done a great job supporting us and helping us and they’re gonna let us set up in the parking lot. We’ll have fourteen vendors, it’s all going to be art, and we’re gonna have some new members joining us too. It’s gonna be a great way for you to see art you haven’t seen for a while.”

The colony also has more events coming in the near future. One such is a virtual sale and scholarship fundraiser in memoriam of Linda Regula. 

“She was an advocate for helping anyone in need and encouraging them to make art. Especially when they’re having a hard time, art is just a great way to express yourself. We wanted to honor her by having an art scholarship in her name. So ArtCOZ partnered with You Will Rise and we are doing a virtual event on October 17th.”
