CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to a two-year contract with head coach Marvin Lewis.

Lewis has been the head coach of the Bengals since the 2003 season and his 125 career victories are the most in franchise history.

A statement from Bengal president Mike Brown said the following.

“Marvin Lewis has been an important member of the Cincinnati community and the Bengals family for the past 15 years, and we are happy to have reached this agreement. Marvin has made significant contributions during his time here. While recently we have fallen short of our expectations, we have full confidence in Marvin to re-establish winning football in 2018,” said Brown

Lewis’ contract had expired at the end of the 2017 football season and many considered that he and the Bengals would part ways.

He’ll meet with members of the media tomorrow afternoon.
