Bishop Rosecrans Students Collect Supplies for Heartbeats

ZANESVILLE, Oh – Students at Bishop Rosecrans High School loaded up supllies the chool has been collecting for a local organization Thursday afternoon.
After several weeks of collection of essentials like diapers and other necessites they prepared to make the donation to Heartbeats Zanesville.
The supplies will help expecting parents, alomg with those who already have children but are in need.
And the efforts were even schoolwide.
“We have a house system kind of similar to Harry Potter. We asked each grade to bring something in and like, it was different size diapers and different things that woman with children are in need of and we’ve been collecting them for about a month now and we are going to donate them to Heartbeats here in Zanesville. “
“It’s a way to kind of get our faith out into the community but also just get our school out into the community also”
The donations were taken to the Heartbeats location on Maple Avenue, which provides pre and postnatal care, pregnancy and parenting support and education.
Through this donation they hope they’re able to make a difference and share their faith with the community.
It’s a big part of the Catholic identity to have pro-life and support like, life in general. “
“It’s nice to be able to help ourcommunity directly instead of just like, inviting them to do things, we have, like we saw an inviatation and we took it to help donate.”
“It’s a wonderful ministry.”
They plan to make more donations in the future and look forward to doing so.
