Blue Devils roll by Briggs in season opener 81-61

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – It was a perfect way to start the basketball season if you were a Zanesville Blue Devil fan.

The upperclassmen (five seniors) laden Blue Devils boys scored the first 16 points of the game on Tuesday evening at Winland Gym. Briggs first field goal didn’t come until there was 2 minutes to play in the first quarter.

Cameron Brooks-Harris paced Zanesville in scoring with 20 points as Zanesville rolled to a 81-61 victory.

ZHS next plays Friday when they travel to league foe New Philadelphia. You can hear the game on AM 1240 Radio.
