Blue Devils swept by Green Wave

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Zanesville baseball team had a two game winning streak snapped as they lost both games of an afternoon doubleheader to Newark Catholic.

The Green Wave took game one 6-1. Game two saw Zanesville jump out to an early first inning lead, but Newark Catholic battled back to get the 5-2 victory.

The Blue Devils are back in action Monday against River View.
