Body found on Market St. in Zanesville: ZPD

ZANESVILLE, Ohio (WHIZ) – The Zanesville Police Department says a deceased male was found on Market Street in Zanesville Friday afternoon.

Officers say a body found at 833 Market Street was called in around 1:09 p.m. They say he was found underneath a broken down car.

Police believe the man was working on the car when he died. No cause of death has been released.

The car has been towed.

The Zanesville Police Department says the age of the man is not being released at this time. They are investigating at this time and more information may be released Monday.

The Zanesville Police Department, Zanesville Fire Department, and Valuecare Ambulance were called to the scene.
