COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State quarterback Joe Burrow announced Tuesday that he is leaving the University as a graduate transfer and intends to play for another school.

Burrow took to his Twitter account to make the announcement. The Athens native said he will make his decision of where he’ll play in the coming weeks. He is a graduate student with two years of eligibility left and will be able to play this upcoming fall without having to sit out a year.

Burrow was in a race with Dwayne Haskins for the starting spot. While backing up JT Barrett last season, Burrow played in four games and was 7-11 passing for 61 yards.
