Child injured after crash involving school bus, troopers say

DUNCAN FALLS, Ohio – The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a student was injured after a school bus was hit by an SUV
The patrol says the driver of that vehicle failed to stop at the corner of North and Lincoln street around 2:40 p.m. Wednesday.

Troopers say the students used the back emergency exit to leave that bus and were taken home from the scene. 29 students were onboard at the time.
The driver of the SUV is expected to be cited with failure to yield for a stop sign, according to troopers.
Troopers say, the bus belonged to Franklin Local School District and will be inspected by the patrol before being used by the district.
The name, age and condition of the person injured was not given by troopers because they are a juvenile.
