Christmas Bazaar and Flea Market Held at the Muskingum County Fairgrounds

Christmas Bazaar And Flea Market

The annual Christmas Bazaar and Flea Market was held today at the Muskingum County Fairgrounds.

The market was inside of the Veterans Complex with over 100 vendor spaces that consisted of Christmas crafts, baked goods, decorations and more.

“It’s a very well attended community event. Everybody looks forward to this and we have a large crowd here already this morning and we’re hoping to continue through the day,” Kreis stated. “It gives them something to get out and do and a place to shop. For the vendors, it’s a place to sell their items and so forth.”

Kreis said that the Christmas Bazaar and Flea Market has been going on for about five years.

Kelci Crawford, a Comic Artist based out of Toledo, Ohio and one of the vendors at the market, talked about what customers can expect from her business.

“So these are all comics that I wrote and drew myself so I’ve got stories about pirates with the Legends of Jamie Roberts, I got stories about Wendigos with the Case of the Wendigo and I’ve got stories about dinosaurs with Golf Dinosaur and all kinds of other stuff,” Crawford said.

In 2013, Crawford started with comics, but has been drawing for much longer. She said more of her work can be found at kelcidcrawford.com.
