Colony Square Mall Gears Up for Ohio Tax Free Weekend

ZANESVILLE, OH – The Colony Square Mall is getting ready for a weekend full of deals for back to school.
Ohio’s Sales Tax Weekend kicks off on Friday, August 7th, through Sunday, August 9th, and this is the perfect time to snag a new outfit or the last minute supplies.
Jessica Brailer, the General Manager of the Mall, says all the stores at the mall will also be running deals to further help you stretch your school budget.
“There are plenty of savings coming for back to school shopping, you can save on an item priced at $75 or less. So that’s any clothing item, anything from a coat to a pair of shoes, pair of jeans.” Brailer said. “Then instructional material or school supplies are priced at $20 or less.”
On top of all the store savings, the Colony Square Mall will also be bringing back their Craft and Vendor show during the Tax Free Weekend.
Brailer says around 50 vendors have signed up and will have handmade clothing, jewelry, and home decor to top off your shopping list.
“There’s going to be a lot to see, so we have that going on in addition to our National and local retailers have brought out a lot of extra back to school sales.” Brailer said. “So you’re going to be seeing some savings on a full outfit, lots of jean sales, jeans are big for back to school. Lots of shoe sales, so all here, at Colony Square Mall.”
