Coshocton Home Invasion Investigation

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a home invasion that took place on North 8th Street in Coshocton.

The incident happened Monday just after 9pm.

Deputies say as they arrived on scene a male subject was seen fleeing the residence and after a brief foot pursuit was apprehended.

Authorities said an investigation found that the male subject had kicked in the door of the home and assaulted the male and female occupants with a deadly weapon, intending to rob them.

The male and female were able to wrestle the weapon away from the suspect after being assaulted.

The male occupant was taken to Coshocton Regional Medical Center and then to Grant Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.

The female was treated at the scene and released.
