Coshocton man charged with sexually assaulting minor

A Coshocton man has been charged in connection with sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl.

Roni L. Landis Jr. has been charged with unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a felony of the 3rd degree. The sheriff’s office said on Aug. 24, a Crimes Against Juveniles Detective received information about a 14-year-old girl being sexually assaulted and began investigating the allegations.

Landis Jr. remains in the Coshocton County Justice center on a $15,000 bond. The incident remains under investigation.

Assisting detectives with the investigation were the Coshocton County Children Services and the Coshocton County Prosecutors Office.
