Coshocton man dies after crashing vehicle into home

Authorities said a Coshocton man died Thursday night after he lost consciousness while driving and crashed into a house.
The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office reports that 79-year-old Ronald Mcclain was driving eastbound on Main St. when he lost consciousness causing his foot to press on the accelerator.
Authorities said the vehicle veered off the roadway at the intersection of East Main Street and continued over the curb and struck the residence at 933 Main Street. The occupants of the home were not injured.
Mcclain was pronounced deceased on scene. A passenger in the vehicle, 78-year-old Ellen Mcclain, was taken by Med-Flight to Akron General Hospital with unknown injuries.
