Muskingum

OBERLIN, Ohio – Muskingum sophomore Marcus Dempsey scored 57 points in a 111-104 loss to Oberlin, breaking a school single game scoring record that had stood for over a century.

Dempsey was 19-30 shooting, 7-12 from behind the three-point line, and 12-16 from the charity stripe. His 57 points breaks the school record that was previously held by Babe Arnold. Arnold scored 54 against Wilmington during the 1912-1913 season.

The day before Dempsey had scored 48 in a 88-77 win over Medaille.
