Dodson Financing Apartment Complex

ZANESVILLE, Ohio-Local businessman Ryan Dodson is financing a new apartment complex to go on old Maple Avenue. 

Dodson is the owner of American Pride Power Equipment and all told the project is expected to cost in the ballpark of 1.5 million dollars. Dotson says the opportunity to expand was good for him and the people of Zanesville. 

“I have existing rental units now and I’m very small in that business but we get requests all the time if we have any openings. There’s definitely a demand that exceeds supply right now… The pricing isn’t final, we don’t know all the costs yet, but that’s a rough estimate including purchase of the properties.”

The process is still in the beginning stages but progress is being made.

“We have gotten through most of the city stuff as far as permits and the design and the teardown. Zoning was required. There was 7-8 meetings on that. Right now the builder is looking at different aspects and getting estimates.”

There is no timetable currently on the completion of the complex.
