Dog of the Week

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Muskingum County Dog Warden is naming Rose, an American Bully mix, their dog of the week.

Rose is a very playful dog with a disposition towards treats other dogs.

“This is Rose, she is estimated to be about a year old. She would do well with a family that is young and active…If you’re interested in her, and would like to foster to adopt her, that is the way we are going right now, until the whole COVID-19 is over… She is selective with other dogs, so like I said if you have other dogs you need to come by with those and see how they do together.”  Warden Alisha Myers told WHIZ.

Rose is up to date on her vaccinations and has been spayed. The warden also wanted to stress that while the kennel is open, it is not fully operating at this time due to COVID-19.

“Right now we are doing fostering to adopt, we are not doing adoptions until we get the go-ahead. After COVID-19. Also depending on our numbers  here in this facility, at this moment.”

If you and your family are looking to adopt a dog, pay a visit to the Muskingum County Dog Warden after the COVID-19 pandemic has died down.
