Dog of the Week

ZANESVILLE, Ohio-The Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center is naming Leta its dog of the week.
Leta is a prim and proper little lady and favorite of handler Doug McQuaid. Underneath her timid nature is a very loving pup.
“This is Leta. She came into us in January of this year. She’s three years old, walks very well, very easy to walk… Very very timid. As she walks she’s very inquiring, she’s got her nose to the ground. Rides well in the car, very well in the car. She’s dog friendly, kid friendly as well. Cat’s we’re unsure of.”, adoption center representative Doug McQuaid told WHIZ.
Leta is fully vaccinated and ready to be adopted. She would love to be made a part of your family.
“Leta basically could go with any family. With her speed of walk even a young kid could actually walk her, and enjoy the walk. Her biggest thing is she’s very inquiring but she keeps her pace going. She doesn’t stop a lot. She’s just constantly got her nose to the ground.”, McQuaid continued.
Anyone interested in adopting Leta should call the adoption center and set up an appointment.
