Dog Warden Celebrates Its Dog Of The Week

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio-The Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center are hoping you’ll welcome its dog of the week into your home with open arms.
This week’s dog is a pitbull mix named Journey. Journey is a favorite amongst warden volunteers such as Doug McQuaid.
“Journey came into us at the AC August 15th. Journey is deaf. He is neutered. Probably the most exciting thing that he likes to do is go for a walk. He is strong on a leash when he first starts off and as your walk proceeds he seems like he slows down and gets more manageable. I think a family that would walk with him everyday would transpire as something natural to him.”, McQuaid said of Journey.
The adoption process for the center has changed due to COVID but it is still easily accessible to anyone not wanting to go their separate ways from Journey or other dogs.
“Our adoption process is if you would please give the AC a call. Set up an appointment. We do have a meet and greet area, we will bring the dog out to you and you can spend as much time as you would like with it and see if it would fit with your family… If you do have other dogs we require that we do do a meet and greet.”
Don’t stop believing that you can adopt Journey and give him a forever home.
