Drug bust in Somerset

SOMERSET, Ohio – Monday, Deputies with the Perry County Sheriff’s Office and the Somerset Police Department executive a search warrant and found drugs and weapons and arrested one man.

The Sheriff’s Office and Police Department both had received complaints about drug activity at 305 W. Sheridan Ave. in Somerset. Upon execution of the search warrant agents found and seized drugs, currency, assault rifles, and body armor.

36-year-old Anthony B. Foster was arrested on felony aggravated trafficking in drug charges. He is being held at the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail. He could face additional drug and weapon charges. Also assisting at the scene was the Perry County Dog Warden’s Office.
