Early Results in August Primary

The polls are now closed and voting in the August 2 Legislative Primary has now ended.

With 9,082 votes, Shane Wilkin wins against Thomas Hwang for the Ohio state senator of the 17th district republican. Wilkin will now face democrat Garry Boone in November.

For the Ohio state senator for the 19th district democrat, Heather Swiger wins against Chrissie Hinshaw accumulating 3,962 votes. She will face Andrew Brenner in November.

Thad Clagget takes the republican race for the state representative of the 68th district, winning against Mark Fraizer. Clagget had a total of 3,993 votes.

Darrell Kick receives a total of 2,898 votes winning against Scott Pullins for the republican representative of the 98th district.
