ECOL champion Lady Devils win senior night match

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Zanesville Lady Blue Devils soccer team wrapped up the ECOL championship last week. Monday night was about honoring their seniors.

Seven senior Blue Devils were honored before their game with Athens. The Blue Devils scored their first goal less than a minute into the game and took down the Bulldogs 6-0 to improve their record to 9-3-3. All six goals were scored by seniors. Samantha Moore and Hallie Kimble each had two goals while Libby Dolen and Leikyn Dalponte tailed one each.

They have one regular season game left. ZHS will then open tournament play as the number one seed in their district when they host Cambridge on Oct. 19.
