Fall Farmers Markets in Zanesville

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The weather has grown colder and as Winter approaches the Fall farmers market is being held each Saturday at weasel boy brewery in Zanesville. Misty Josselyn, Farmers Market Manager, says the events will take place until Saturday December 7th in order to sell the last of the season’s produce.

“We were fortunate enough to partner with them last year to start setting up here. We are here generally November and part of December so that the farmers can finish off the fall season—their fall growing season, what they have left. We have apples, a lot of fall squash—things like that, a lot of baked goods, all handmade goods just the same as we are at the farmers market.”

Area residents are encouraged to bolster the economy by buying local products and food items like those found at the Fall Farmers Market.

“It’s great for our local economy to buy local. It supports our local farmers, it supports our local artists. You know, you’re building sustainability with buying locally. It’s just a great benefit for our community, actually. It keeps everyone closer, it builds out community.”

The Fall Farmers Market will be held each Saturday at the Weasel Boy Brewery from 11 AM to 2 PM.
