Fatal Accident in Licking County
A crash in Licking County turns fatal.
The Granville Post of the State Highway Patrol said it took place on State Route 310 north of Emswiler Way in Pataskala around 11:40 Sunday morning.
The Patrol said  a 1997 Ford Ranger was traveling south on State Route 310 when it drove off the right side of the road striking a utility pole.
61-year-old Timothy Majerus, of Reynoldsbuerg, died at the scene.
The patrol says he was not wearing his seatbelt when the crash occurred. The cause of the accident hasn’t been determined and remains under investigation.
