Final Zanesville Farmer’s Market of the year

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Saturday was the final Zanesville Farmer’s Market of the year at the Muskingum County Fairgrounds.

Hundreds came out to see their favorite vendors one final time this year. We talked with April Lovejoy about her loose-leaf tea business, the Crone’s House, which she started earlier this year. Lovejoy hasn’t missed a single Farmer’s Market and she now is selling her tea out of her new storefront.

“We have two spaces. The space that we have at our farm is open. And we also now have a space leased at the Market Street Freight Shops. And we’re going to be selling some things there,” said Lovejoy.

Lovejoy hopes that their new downtown location will be open in a couple of weeks. She says she plans to be at every Farmer’s Market next year and that they have expanded their variety of teas since this summer.

“We have a couple of new teas that I make myself. We’ve got a solstice spice tea, which is a cinnamon spice tea. We have a new lavender. We have a new tea that is coming out that is a ginger tea,” said Lovejoy.

Next year’s Farmer’s Market will first open May 7.
