Forever Dads Holds ‘All Star Dads Event’

Forever Dads

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Saturday at the Muskingum Family Y, Forever Dads hosted their fourth annual ‘All Star Dads Day.’

This year Forever Dads moved the event from Father’s Day weekend to August. Executive Director Burl Lemon said this is one of his favorite days of the year.

“It’s an awesome opportunity to provide dads a place to go with their children to spend time outdoors doing some action stuff,” said Lemon.

This year they partnered with the Boy Scouts to offer bow and arrow and BB gun shooing games in addition to obstacle courses and lunch. Lemon explains the goal of Forever Dads.

“Forever Dads encourages, educates, and equips men to develop positive relationships with their children, family, and community,” said Lemon. “It’s wild because we have all types of interactive games.”
