‘Free Stuff Giveaway’ is Only Days Away

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Volunteers at one local church is preparing for a huge event taking place this weekend.

On Saturday, August 6th, thousands of items will be up for grabs at North Terrace Church of Christ’s free stuff giveaway event. Organizers said the event is free and open to the pubic.

“Right now we are organizing all of the different donations that have come in the past couple of months into different piles that it’s easy when people come into get stuff to find exactly what they need. There is girls clothing sizes organized into different sizes. There are men’s sizes and we have bags, we have toys and all different kind of games,” said
Katie Norris, Communication Director, North Terrace Church of Christ.

Norris said, new this year the church also decided to donate some of their owe items such as clothing, toys, electronics and furniture as a way to personally reach out to the community.

“One of our last sermons series was on simplifying your life and one of the challenges we gave to the congregation was each day for 40 days you need to find something that you didn’t need anymore that you can donate. We received all of those items here at this event and it was something that people rallied around,” said Norris.

The giveaway runs this Saturday from 9 a.m to noon located at 1420 Brandywine Blvd. Zanesville, Oh.
